Some rusty chain link fence love

You captured that fence so beautifully! I can't imagine how long it must have taken to get each twist and wire just right - I sketch simple things sometimes (e.g. the contour of my hand - like I said, really simple), and even those take me quite a bit of time (read: hours).

Haha... You might be surprised at how quickly you can render a wire fence. It's just a case of observing how they wire interlocks, and then placing the pencil on the paper and wiggling it in roughly the same way. ;-)

Of course, I spent more time on the interesting broken bits, but it is quite easy to fool the eye when it comes to repetative patterns.
