I like the bottom picture, where the pudgy toddler appears to be investigating the bug-eyed creature almost as if it's some elaborate educational toy.
Spooky. Out of these two pages the kid and the creature you mention are the only things that I like, and I did draw them sharing a moment of curiosity with each other.
