I decided to order a few books about Crows and Ravens, and the first book, Crows: Encounters with the Wise Guys by Candace Savage, arrived this morning. I hope it reads as good as it smells. :-D
I know what you mean! I sometimes will get distracted from reading a book just to bury my nose in the spine and breathe in the glorious smell. (although I have met some books that have good content textwise but horrible smells... I guess that's another "small despondency" of life)
Hehe... Dover books: Horrible smell, 'despondent' choice of text font & page texture (usually), always bad cover design, but (again, usually) great content. They say love is a series of comprimises. Well whoever 'they' are, 'they' should add that turn of phrase to book purchases! :-D
