Scavenger Hunt Sketches

Object collecting for a Wet Canvas forum challenge...

Manikin Mashup...

I've had a cheap wooden manikin sitting (posing?) on my bookshelf for about four years now. Never used it for any kind of artistic endeavor. I recently spent about an hour doing some quick sketches and... well, I think that's about it for possibly another four years.

Sorry, Naoki, back on the shelf you go. :(

Still Life Exercises II

Another one that ended up being somewhat difficult for me...

Still Life Exercises I

Trying a change of pace, thanks to a Scavenger Hunt challenge I discovered over on the Wetcanvas forums. Aiming for no more than 1h30min sketch time... if only because I don't have the patience to take things further with these digital outputs.

Homage

A quick homage to my failing DSl that has been a constant companion for over four years now. I've amassed well over 400 saved sketches and paintings, which have mostly be plein-air landscape studies, and have probably discarded/painted over a good 100 or so more scratchings. Not bad value for money, all in all.

Here's hoping I can break the 500 mark before the whole thing packs up. I have a feeling the only thing keeping it going is all the bits of bark, moss, and rabbit dung buried within the case. -_-
