Having flown over the Rockies yesterday, I am reminded by the bottom picture of how similarly ice and rock behave under water erosion.
Terribly dry and analytical, I know, but landforms are typically more interesting to look at (and overanalyze) for long periods of time than the interior of a passenger jet.

I love drawing rocks so I find it enjoyable to analyze them and read about the effects of different types of erosion. :)
